Directly report to the CEO and closely partner with the CTO to lead a dynamic product team of 10, driving the direction of e-commerce user experience, creative design, and design operations.
As head of the NYL.com design team, I focus on design operations and management of two external agencies, overseeing 20 FTEs. I lead the digital design creative team, develop and refine repeatable design processes, and align strategies and project scopes alongside our other cross-functional teams.
I standardized the design practice and provided best-in-class, user-centered design solutions to our clients. I managed the collaboration processes among both onshore and offshore design and development teams.
As the senior interaction designer, I led digital projects including the first RL watch e-commerce website, Olympics sponsorship campaigns, key marketing initiatives for flagship store openings and seasonal women's fashion shows. I also mentored designers and helped to develop their career growth.
At that time, Style.com was the pioneer of fashion editorial website. I worked with the world-class editors and photographers to bring the latest fashion shows, trends and news to our readers. I led the digital design for our seasonal and weekly reports, runway shows updates, art directed photoshoots and mentored junior designers.
LePrix is an online luxury goods consignment and reseller that founded in 2010. As an in-house designer, I was excited to take on the side project to help building a business from the ground up. I managed all their creative direction from branding, photoshoot, digital design to facilitate implementation with the dev team. We were featured in many press media, including Refinery29, NBC and Washington Post. In 2018, LePrix changed the name from Snobswap to LePrix.
I joined Macys.com as a junior designer and was promoted to the lead digital designer for women's accessories. I was responsible for designing microsites, seasonal editorial content and art directing photoshoots.
Upon graduating from RISD, I started my design career at a boutique design agency in Providence and moved to New York to work for a French advertising agency.
